  1. a)the joy of learning maths, during P1 i was able to learn how to count to 100 very easily.

    b)the challenges are in P6 during SA1 i failed maths but during PSLE i got B.

  2. a) The joy of learning maths is that I learn alot of things in my primary school life.

    b) in primary 5 and 6, I did not usually pay attention in class. so I got a b in maths for psle..... I can overcome this problem by paying more attention in class this year.

  3. The joy was that i got highest in class for math because i worked hard :). I experience some difficulty with applying some methods to hard questions or combining methods to solve a hard question. I think i can overcome this problem by practicing more :).

  4. The success in mathematics for me is that I am able to understand the concepts and fundamentals. The challenges for this subject is that some topics like 'speed' was hard to understand. I think I would be able to understand these challenges by studying attentively and responsibly.

  5. Mathematics is very fun and intriguing as it lets me solve challenging puzzles.It is also my best subject and I always try to achieve full marks but I have only achieved highest 98 marks.

    Mathematics is my favourite subject. Although I am weak in angles, I will read and study more about angles to improve on it. Angles are sometimes confusing so I must try to solve hard angle problems at home.

  6. The success I have ached in Maths is learning new things and getting good grades.

    I have faced many challenges in Maths one of them is not paying attention.I could copy down notes and listen more carefully.

  8. (a) When i have a good success, it is a really good success like solving a question which i have been thinking of a solution for days.
    (b) I count myself good but not the best so I will go on working on the better

  10. a) I was promoted to the best class in primary 6 as I had scored one of the top three in the 2nd best class in primary 5.

    b) I can't really solve maths problems as I can't remember many ways of solving the questions. Nevertheless, I'll do as much as I can this year and try to solve all the questions even if I can't solve them.

    finally solving a complicated question that the rest of the class couldn't solve. improving in mathematics after not doing as well as usual for some time.
    (b)
    time management. i take too long at certain questions but they are questions i know how to do. write faster and do be too long winded.

  12. a) The joy of learning maths is the teachers that teach me. They are very helpful and caring so i can learn everything they teach.


    b)The challenge in maths is I'm weaker is percentage . I wll practice more percentage question so as to improve it.

  13. In primary, I usually get high Cs but in my PSLE, I got a high B. Although it was a big improvement, I knew i could have done better.

  14. The joy is when I got the highest in class in P5 because I revised for it the week before.
    The challenges I faced during P6 in when I got a B for Prelims but I got an A for PSLE. I think I can improve by paying attention in class.

  15. (a)I have experienced happiness when ever I do well in a maths test.

    (b)Some challenges I had experienced was that I sometimes had trouble with math questions.I think I can overcome some of these challenges by revising and asking for help when I need clarification.

  16. The joy of learning mathematics is when the lessons are fun and everyone is very interactive and participative.It is fun to get a challenging problem and solving it.I feel a sense of success when i get a good grade for maths or solve a challenging problem :)

  18. A) I have experienced success and joy is when I have finally achieved a A* during my primary six life. Especially when i was not really doing well and my maths grade started to drop and i realized i had to work hard in order to fulfill my dream.
    B) Honestly speaking the topic i hate for Maths is....Angles.To me it is quite hard for me to visualize the angles. Pay extra more attention on that particualr topic.

  19. A) Last year i studied hard for the PSLE Maths and in the end i got a 'A'. I was really overjoyed.
    B)Some questions i have encountered have been very hard but i managed to solve them in the end so it bought me not to give up

  21. (a) My previous Math teacher always incorporates her lessons into many challenging yet enjoyable activities which helps me to learn better because I always try my best to complete the activities. Best of all, I find that at the end of the day, I always learn something new.

    (b) Sometimes I do not understand my teacher's explanation but I just keep it to myself. I really should ask questions if I do not understand because I know that if I do not do so, I will be behind the rest of the class.

    b) there was one concept that i could not master. after my mom taught me how, it was easy
